Youths stand for the largest resource Kenya has and have continued to posses even in the future. According to World bank report, youths account for  close to 75% of the total population. However, these young people are not fully facilitated to take part in the country's economic growth. This is mainly because of high level of youths unemployment across the country.

Ideally, engaging these people in various development strategies would not only improve the quality of the institutions involved but also it  enriches the whole process.

If kenya carries just a single most important feature of empowering young people , either through imparting them with necessary skills or financially, it would be sure of killing two birds with  one stone since it would not only promote it's productivity as a country's but also help them to build a long lasting economic solutions for themselves and their families.

As the country looks forward to achieving it's development goals; among them vision 2030 and  Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), it ought to lay down clear roles for young people in achieving them and engage them either politically, socially and even economically.

Lets take for instance  manufacturing industry which have in recent years witnessed radical changes in the nature of workareas. Technical skills and innovations are required in this industry. Therefore there's an urgent need to advance the skills in Technology, science ,art engineering among others to built on their capacities to create jobs and ensure development growth of our country
